HELLO there, Felicia -- it's been a long time! Thrilled to hear you're back in Seoul. That must be QUITE the adventure.

CONGRATS on your recent baptism! Didn't realize you were contemplating a return to the States. But you're so right -- having a spiritual anchor when you're far, far away from home can make all the difference. Glad you found an English-speaking place to worship in Seoul. (And be sure to keep us posted on your book -- can't wait to find out what it's about!)

Hello to you!
I'm back in Seoul and thus the blog will continue. I was recently baptized when I was visiting family in the States (Silly me, thought that I was ready to stay in the States, settle down, you know the song) but decided to finish my book in Seoul. Well, I went to my first English church service and I can tell that's living in Seoul this time around is going to be even more fufilling now that I have a place to fellowship.

Ciao!
Felicia, This Time in Seoul

Ciao, Eileen -- I'm cracking up imagining you guys pantomiming the look of a church and its steeples! You're so right... we don't have to be from whatever faith tradition we happen to drop in upon (assuming the people there are open to visitors) to celebrate the oneness of all humanity. Not to be all Mary Poppins about it, but we're all so much more alike than different -- and sharing others' worship experiences can help us realize that in so many important ways.

And thanks for the nice words about my mom! (She made me promise to only use a good photo.) LOL

On a wintertime trip to Japan, my ex and I attended an Anglican Christmas Mass, which I think was one of the quirkier parts of our trip, the whole part of finding the subway station, pantomining a Christian church service or putting our hands atop our heads like steeples to get to the right place at the right time was a great experience!

And I'm not Anglican (or even Christian), but I can try to appreciate a beautiful celebration of God in any form.

Nice work! And your mom's adorable!
